The Community Health Service Inc. behavioral health team provides quality, integrated care for everyone.
Our behavioral health team provides therapy, counseling, and skills support for individuals, couples, and families in a comfortable, confidential setting from our Moorhead and Rochester clinics or via telehealth. Our telehealth services can be accessed by anyone in Minnesota or North Dakota.
We use a variety of evidence-based, culturally sensitive approaches to therapy and counseling, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), psychoeducation, and mindfulness techniques. Our integrated behavioral health team can also work closely with our medical, dental, and victim advocacy programs to provide the full support you need for your complete well-being.

We have multiple bilingual staff members and can accommodate all of our patients' language needs with a live, face-to-face video interpreter. Our documents are translated into multiple languages and requests for additional translations can be provided.
CHSI accepts most coverage plans, including private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare. Patients may also qualify for our sliding fee payment scale and/or discounted prescription drug prices through 340B.

Gracia Do, LPCC
Licensed Professional Counselor &
Behavioral Health Director
Rochester Clinic
Gracia Do is the Behavioral Health Director and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at CHSI. She earned her bachelor's degree from Minnesota State University and her M.S. from St. Mary's University. Gracia brings almost a decade of experience providing therapy to individuals of all ages, and she is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Her expertise includes the treatment of post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and relationship conflicts. Gracia enjoys travel, interior design, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

Julia Pels
Behavioral Health Intern
Moorhead Clinic
Julia Pels is a Behavioral Health Intern providing care in our Moorhead clinic. Julia holds a B.A. in cultural studies from Columbia College in Chicago, and she is currently pursuing an M.A. in clinical counseling from Liberty University. She anticipates graduation in December 2024 and licensure as an associate clinical counselor by January 2025. Julia's practice is grounded in existentialist therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and spirituality. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and certified in non-violent crisis intervention and SYMBIS. In her free time, Julia enjoys hiking, meditation, and forensic psychology documentaries.
